Words have the power to motivate, move, and inspire.
For nearly 20 years I was immersed in medical publishing, selling physician recruitment advertising for some of the largest names in medical publishing: Elsevier, Frontline Medical Communications, and Medscape/WebMD; and working with numerous medical societies whose journals they published.
That experience gave me unique insights and knowledge that will speak directly to the needs of your specific audience. I know physician specialties. I won’t confuse a thoracic surgeon with a vascular surgeon with an interventional cardiologist. And, I understand what they’re looking for at each stage of their career. You’ll be able to personalize your message to their exact interests.
Before I worked in medical publishing, I began my career as a newsletter copywriter and worked my way up to managing corporate and marketing communications for a variety of companies. Along the way I had my own freelance copywriting business. My clients included AT&T, Chemical Bank, Dun & Bradstreet, Who’s Who ® (Marquis Publishing), a Malcolm Baldrige award winner, and small- and mid-sized businesses.
Now, I’m combining my sales experience with my first love, writing, and working with the organizations I know best — medical societies, CME companies, and hospitals and physician recruiters.
Other clients are welcome also! I love learning about different industries and businesses.

About the photos
The pictures on this site are of the Pine Creek Valley in Pennsylvania. The photo on the Contact page was taken in the Colton Point State Park in the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. Have to keep the rest secret — they’re my sister’s favorite fishing holes!
These mountains are very personal to me; both sides of my family have lived there for generations. I could tell you stories about my great-grandfather killing a bear with his bare fist … snowstorms that kept my parents and grandparents snowed in for 6 weeks … the night my great uncle had appendicitis. Snow and ice blocked the “Narrows.” The roads were impassable. So two men loaded him onto a rail handcart, covered him with blankets, and pumped with all their might for 30 miles to the nearest hospital. What heroes. Wild country! But some of the most beautiful.
